Comments: Well... guess which pairing I'm into now? :3I actually like how this came out, despite me not drawing in over a year, and being a bit rusty on my colored pencil skills. It's a bit of mixed media too, considering I used a couple of my copic markers to go over the sky, cause it looked too bland for my tastes. But, everything else is done with Crayola colored pencils. I still love them to death.
And I guarantee, that for the next few months or so, all you'll see come out of me is Transformers art, and OPxSS slashy fun. Oh, and some drawings of 's OC.
ALSO even though I don't have a subbie, critique is desired, please. O:
Edit: I realize that Optimus doesn't have blue on his arms. Just his hands. I think I had Starsceream on my mind while I was coloring him. >< There's always one mistake. xD

I'm not here because this is my otp, honest.
As far as I know, in G1 (and all the ones based off it) Optimus doesn't have blue forearms. Just to toss that out there.
Looking over the rest of him I can't really see any problems.
As or Starscream, his shoulder vents seem to be a bit thin. Their height is fine though.
His head seems fine as well, since I think it's generally the front part that gives people problems. I also like the details on his wings.
something I've forgot to do to my Starscream model for years now. hurr.
His right wing seems a little lumpy around the bottom right bit. The line goes along a little too much before turning up. The left one is fine though.
This might be because I spend so much time working in 3D and with (usually) realistic lighting, but the lack of any shadowing they cause on the ground throws me off a bit. Mainly around Starscream's ass (which is nicely drawn by the way 
I can't really give any suggestions about making bits look a bit less bland like you mentioned (how you fixed it does work though) since traditional media just isn't my thing and thus I know sod all about it.
