It was either getting flattened by a Thwomp, falling in boiling lava or getting stomped on by Mario, really. poor fella

I made this artwork for the Mario's Blacklist over at Game-Art-HQ

This is a remake of a very old probably unknown drawing of mine, being this one

I'm actually really proud how this one came out, especially the models. All models were made from scratch, only using reference pictures. The Goomba was actually harder to create than I expected, but it still looks pretty great

And it's actually pretty difficult to create a 2D platfomer/drawing in 3D. It's rather obvious that Thwomps are very easily avoidable if you could just take a step more to the front or back
