Description YAY FOR ANOTHER ONE!!!

I really enjoy drawing in this style and I figured I draw a little something for my girlfriend, , because she's awesome and I'm missing her.

YAY FOR RAWK!!! I really love that guitar. Best guitar I've ever drawn (I'm sure those who are GOOD at drawing guitars are currently wincing).

(btw, this is George Harrison. Jus' in case you didn't know. ;D)

EDIT: To explain the shadow, George doesn't cast one. He's a vampire.

God, too many to list. Top three are The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Simon & Garfunkel. But there are SO many more. You?

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-28 21:21:44 +0000 UTC]

Oh I like the classics too. The beatles, Bob dylan, Jimmy Hendrix, but lately I've been more new school. Artic Monkeys, Oasis, Wombats.

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 13:38:52 +0000 UTC]

I've listened to them for quite a while, and I must say they have a fun taste, but are very similar to your other favourite artists. I guess that is why you like them (hehe).

Buy you know, when I listen to music, I try to listen to as many types as possible. There was a period that I was jumping in my room to hard metal, but there was also one that I had to shed tears for classic. Now I'm into rock... but I feel the power of it slowly gliding away. I've listened allot to it and I think I may get bored. Maybe you have some rock alike (or not) music that really stands out?

Also, I can remember that I loved Jack Johnson. (Loved, I listened too much to him and now I have to stop listening to him... for a year or two.) Ever heard of him? If not, I recommend that guy.

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 14:58:46 +0000 UTC]

I do like Jack Johnson!!! And yes, my other favorite is Mozart. Love the guy.

As far as why I love rock so much, I think it goes hand in hand with the fact that I play several instruments -- guitar, electric guitar, harmonica, ukulele, sitar -- and I like the music I can play. So Indian classical music is awesome too. Love Ravi Shankar.

Ah, you're just like my very good friend, he is the one that made me love the rock genre, and he plays guitar himself as well. I guess he has the same motivation as you

Oooh, indian music.

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 15:42:03 +0000 UTC]

It's the best thing in the world, knowing how to play an instrument!!! *is obsessed*

And yep -- sitar is /beautiful/.

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 15:47:18 +0000 UTC]

Haha, I'm good in many things but at instruments I lack. I have a keybaord at home, but my music is nothing compared to what the world has to offer. Yet is is a great feeling to close my eyes and let my hands speak for me.

It is indeed, as is almost every instrument.

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 16:09:19 +0000 UTC]

Music, mostly. And art, of course. And hanging out with my girlfriend, if that's a hobby. XD

You?

I wonder whether you know what my gender is. I was just chatting with someone else and he mistook it, hehe.

Oh, everything that is creative really. But what I'm interested currently at the most is: psychology. I have already created my own basic theory, and I just think that analyzing stuff is awesome.

And I don't really think that hanging out with the person you love counts as a hobby, hehe, everyone likes doing that.

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 16:19:45 +0000 UTC]

You're a girl, yes?? That might be because I assume everyone on dA is a girl unless their icon is a guy.

Oooh, I love psychology as well. I took a few classes, which doesn't make me an expert, but it's why I started that "what's your sign" thread in the first place. Analysis is a big love of mine, especially where books are concerned.

And blast, I was hoping I could squeeze her in there.

What is that for a weird conclusion, xD, there are almost on girls on the internet. So you missed, I am a guy, and the person in my picture is a guy as well.

!! Really? Are you also interested in philosophy?

Love is too big for hobbies I guess.

Say, do you roleplay?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 17:54:54 +0000 UTC]

Oh, I think that's rather cynical. Books are a great place to bond.

I do, with about..1 person. I'd do more, but it depends on the subject matter.

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 17:57:31 +0000 UTC]

Hmmm, one person? When I mention Roleplaying on DA I get something very, very weird. I meant group roleplaying, with a GM and players etc. etc. As I started a topic in the general discussion to see whether there are any interested.

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 18:14:05 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, lots of people RP on MSN or something with one person in particular. S'not that odd.

And what would the story be?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 18:20:38 +0000 UTC]

- it is not the real meaning of roleplaying

You mean the setting? It's placed in a generic magic fantasy medieval land. Magic is common, however a certain country has been using technology for military purposes to overpower magic users. Basically there is something like a world war going on between the magic ones and the ones with technology. The players are a group of specialists who are currently fleeing from the Metal Users (the technology country)

*shrugs* Sorry, I guess?

And yeah, I'm not too fantasy oriented. I like real world stuff. <

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 18:33:25 +0000 UTC]

Haha, nothing to apologize for.

Heh, I chose this setting because many people like to mess around with powers and stuff. But when it's real world there is rarely action going on

I think it's because I'm a history buff. I love RPing past historical events from a different perspective. That's probably why I RP with only one other person -- not many others are into that kinda thing!!!

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 18:40:10 +0000 UTC]

How do you roleplay then?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gooseberry007 In reply to MikaMikado [2008-11-29 18:46:52 +0000 UTC]

We decide on the basic plot ahead of time and one person begins with some prose background...well, I guess, basically, it's like writing a story in tadem. We get pretty flowery with our third person "stage direction".

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MikaMikado In reply to gooseberry007 [2008-11-29 19:04:27 +0000 UTC]

Yeah that differs quite a bit from my roleplaying. Still feel invited to the roleplay once it starts, maybe you'll lurk around it and join then or maybe not.
