Daring because yellow is such an intense primary colour and it's over such a large section of the canvas - it would have been easy to mute it, thinking to make it mesh with everything else more smoothly and clean. But to do so would have taken away from it's power. Perhaps 'confident' would have been a better word than 'daring' - your confidence in the quality of your composition is displayed by your bold use of both colour and shape. And it works.
