Description If you watch in full view, you'll see that it looks like this guy is fishing a surfer
(it's maybe not very clear at this size..., on the original shot I can see the fishing line going straight to the surfer...)

Excellent le ciel zebre...je me suis jamais trop aventure a le photographier car je pensais que c'etait peine perdue mais non, ca marche bien, bravo!
C'est quoi le triangle noir au premier plan--du sable sec?
Au fait t'as vu que c'est un gros poisson rouge deguise en surfeur qu'il a attrappe? Ils sont malins, hein?

le triangle est effectivement du sable sec, il me derange mais je n'ai pas pu faire sans, a moins de couper les pieds du pecheur...
pour le ciel zebre, ca marche assez facilement en mesure de lumiere "globale", mais il faut que les zebrure soient assez marque (si tu les distinguent tout juste a l'oeil, marchera pas). Ensuite le pti truc est de devellope 2 fois le RAW, 1 fois pour le ciel, 1 fois pour le premier plan... ou alors, il faut un gradient density filter assez fort...

Ah, oui, OK, merci pour l'info sur le double developpement. Il y a toutefois une fonction tres efficace dans PS pour ce cas de zones a expositions tres differentes...laisse moi chercher...que mes cours de photo servent a qqchse pr une fois...(je ne m'en sers jamais car j'essaie de regler les problemes d'exposition a la prise de vue bien que ce ne soit pas en utilisant la mesure spot que je vais y arriver re-)...Image/Adjustments/Shadow & Highlights. C'est exactement le truc qui sauve de ttes les situations possibles et imaginables (un peu comme l'Agence Tous-Risques) mais assez tricky a utiliser.

yep, je connais le shadow highlight, mais la correction d'exposition de camera raw donne un resultat de meilleure qualite
Apres, faut jouer du pinceau pour faire un masque correct, pas tjrs facile...

a ce moment la, l'HDR peut apporter la solution a condition de figer...les vagues, le pecheur et le surfeur. Ta boite Tic-Tac, elle doit avoir la fonction 'freeze', non?!

c'est clair que l'HDR est l'arme ultime, mais la c'est vachement tricky, y'a tout qui bouge.. meme les sun ray...
Apres ca peut donner un effet interressant

I took 4 or 5 shots of this scene to have the right exposure balance between the sunset and the fisherman, glad you like it

if i may be so bold, but holy crap that is scrumptulescent, this is one of the better done photos that ive seen in a while, the sunlight is so perfect and all of that in the photo is hard to expose correctly but you did amazingly
