Description
An original character made by content. He is a Black Numenorean, and an agent of Sauron. The idea with this design was to make his costume give him a "tower-like" appearance, specifically Sauron's tower. He also has the power over fire, which is why his weapons are a torch and fire-poker.And no, "Black Numenorean" doesn't mean he's African-American.

Great work, though! Mordrambor was one of my favorite baddies, and one of the most dangerous I faced in all of my adventures in Middle-Earth. Hats off to you!

I'm curious, does the name mean anything? Tolkien's languages are quite handy when making up non-canon characters' names, but I don't have any dictionary here atm to check out if this one has a meaning. 
Good colors btw, I like the chestpiece. Definitely a lot of Sauron in that design.

We have the fortune of not being tied to the movies for all of our inspiration, which is a HUGE benefit for a concept artist. We can get away with a lot more fantastical interpretations (like having fire in people's chest armor.

I just finished reading Children of Hurin.
Being a child of Hurin sucked balls. Brings up an interesting question though, is it worse to be the one trapped in the horrible fate or the one forced to watch it happen to your loved ones?
Do you get to do Queen BerΓΊthiel and her cats?
I have to say I was never a fan of the whole Sauron/Sauron's tower look from the movie. I don't know why but my mind, with the faceplate, goes to the horribly overwrought Transformer movie designs.

I'm pretty sure we don't get to touch Children of Hurin or Silmarillion (which i am rereading now actually) because they don'r belong to Tolkien Enterprises (they belong to his son and he is very cautious, which is why we will never see a Silmaril movie

Sweet! Definitely captures the aesthetic sense from the films yet remains distinct and specific. I love those orange stripes on the breastplate.
