To my understanding he's like a lesser Baelrog. Or like, one of the Nameless. Or something. Honestly, you're gonna have to ask the content department on how we're manhandling Tolkien's lore on this one. All I know is he's made of fire and shadow and he's probably taller than you.I just draw the pictures man, don't flame me for lore-bending please?

I have to admit I love killing this guy more than most other bosses in the game. It's just super satisfying. He's huge and scary.

That guy was impressive. Even though my main is a 75 hunter he still has Epic Books to finish and Moria, cause I skipped it as much as I could second time through. Moria is just so freaking HUGE! Gwathnor was a nice addition. To see the concept art is even better! I'd say lore wise you guys did a good job, since Tolkien had the 'older darker things' line. Yeah, there are quite a few things not exactly in there. But as a fan of Tolkien and a LOTRO player I'm not gonna bash Turbine too much till they REALLY mess up...creative liberties can be taken, and really, it's great to be able to explore Moria as a player and see the alluded-to critters.

First time I fought him in LotRO I about peed myself. He was easily the most evil looking thing I'd fought up to that point, though the Watcher was pretty vile too.
But I digress, this is marvelously done. I salute you.
