Description Hans Conried as Frollo!! I've wanted to do this picture for a while. Since today is Hans' birthday I thought it would be appropriate. If he were still alive he'd be 94 years old.
According to this article, [link] he was Kathy Zielinski's inspiration for Frollo's design.

Happy Birthday Mr. Conried!!

He suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuure is.

He's hotter than most of these so-called "hunks" of today. Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp etc... But that is just my humble opinion.

Idk... because I've never fallen in love before, you know? But I guess I like guys with dark hair and darker skin (doesn't have to be super dark, as long as they're not pale as lab rats D and have big eyes and like to use their God-given brains. There was a male that was interested in me who filled most of my criteria but I didn't get together with him because he was a big show-off and was always trying to impress me. -_- So if the man likes to act natural and be himself, that's a plus.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-17 20:05:56 +0000 UTC]

pale as lab rats. You're pretty young, so it's no surprise that you've never been in love. I always chuckle when young teens say that they're madly in love. (I've been guilty of that crime too!) Don't worry, you'll find more interesting mature guys at college. High School guys are lame Is your school all girls? I don't remember if you said so. Do they have a prom? I never went to mine lol.

I vowed never to date a blond guy, but alas I married one. No regrets either!

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-18 00:51:48 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I go to an all girl's school but I can rely on my schoolmates to import romantic drama. -_- I chose to go to an all girl's school because 1) To avoid romance and 2) I knew that the kids from my middle school were too dumb to get in so I was guaranteed to never see them again. But going to an all girl's school didn't guarantee that no on would crush on me. >_>;;

LOL Gotta love God's sense of humor. Just when you think you've got life figured out...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-18 06:56:49 +0000 UTC]

Wow, so you chose to go to an all girls school to avoid romance? I'm really impressed with your self discipline!!! *applaud*

I can't help but wonder, do single sex schools perform better in academics? I knew alot of very smart girls/boys who did very well in school, but had their grades slip a bit when they had a crush on a classmate. Oh how I hated it when guys I didn't like crushed on me! Why couldn't it be the tall, rich, smart, athletic, Catholic virgin that I pined away for my junior year?

So no prom huh? It's a waste of money and you'll forget about it in a few years.

At least my hubby is going gray. Yum. God is good.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-18 16:02:34 +0000 UTC]

Lol it's nothing

I don't know about that. There are other private co-ed schools whose students perform just as well as our school's. I think grades can slip with any distraction (fights, romance, Youtube, etc). So just because someone is in a same-sex school, it doesn't always correlate with good grades. But it does foster a less competitive environment, and the girls are a little more relaxed around each other.

There are prom and dances (we call them mixers because kids from other schools come too), so you have to bring boys you know or your friends. I'm not going to prom because I hear it's just a mixer with fancy dresses. And all of the mixers I've been to sucked. The music sucked and the dancing sucked. People were either standing around in little cliques or gyrating their hips. Plus, you can't breakdance or the chaperons will pounce on you. D:

Ooo, gray hair. ;D Has your hubby's hair always been blonde? I thought all blondes go brown after a while.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-19 01:37:04 +0000 UTC]

Ahh I see. It makes total sense about the various distractions. No fighting over boys at least!

LOL, dances suck. I remember I never danced at any dances. I just sat there and brooded. I don't know why I even bothered attending...

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-19 05:54:46 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, at least. But it's disgusting how girls flirt with the young teachers (esp my physics teacher -_-).

Ah!! So you were one of the killjoys brooding in the corner! D: If you paid money to get in, you should have at least made the most of it. By pissing off chaperons or something... xD

I had classmates do that too with an English teacher of ours. He was only 10 years older than us! Poor guy.

The hall monitors did keep an eye on me. They didn't like me cuz I was goth. But I looked ravishing in my black ball gown and black elbow length gloves!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-19 16:50:23 +0000 UTC]

LOL was he freaked out? There's this new teacher this year who teaches history for the sophomores, I think. He's like, afraid of everyone and always avoiding eye contact and hiding behind his coffee mug. I think he's afraid that some girl is going to sue him for sexual harassment if he so does so much as look at someone. He's really awkward, just like a freshman.

You wore a black ball gown just to a mixer? Dang, lady, you know how to dress up. I think goth clothes are cool, as long as they're actually gothic, not like the goth metal crap you see in mainstream.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-19 20:24:17 +0000 UTC]

Nah, he took it in stride. I remember that someone left behind a folder with a "I love ***********" message on there! He removed the letter and crumpled it up and tossed it the trash by his desk.

It was hard for me to get good Victorian style clothing. I was a poor teen back then. I had to settle for the stuff they had at Hot Topic. I walked by a HT yesterday and was sad to see that they removed their gothic element and replaced it with peppy bright colored Justin Bieber crap. The years of my youth are WAY gone now!!!

Whoo! Way to go Mr. *****!

Do you check thrift shops? Sometimes they have surprisingly neat stuff there. And yeah, HT sucks major pacifiers now. It always has in my opinion I only went there to buy Invader Zim/anime/Linkin Park stuff. And LOL years of youth way gone, you are officially old now that you've said that.

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-20 06:58:34 +0000 UTC]

He was my fave teacher in high school. I had him freshman year and juinor year. He was a cool guy.

Ohh girl, don't even get me started on thrift shops or antique shops. I'm NUTS about those kinds of places. I look for long black conservative skirts and nice blouses. And then there is the whole picture frame fetish of mine. I love picture frames...buying them, collecting them, painting them etc...

I AM old. I don't think they sell Doc Martens there anymore. I loved going in there and checking out all of the band patches and tee-shirts. They had all of their spiked stuff in a glass case. It was epic, and I always blew my allowance money there.

When you have kids, you'll definitely feel old and nostalgic. *goes to youtube and listens to Pokemon Johto theme*

That's nice. ^^ My physics teacher is pretty cool about things too but he's too immature for me to side with him. >_> He throws temper tantrums in class, can you believe that!

HAHA You remind me of Morticia from Addams Family Do you have a smoking jacket as well?

They now have Bieber glasses in their cases. -_- Hot Topic should change their name to Shot Topic.

LOL when I have a kid I won't have cable or satellite. When they ask if they can watch TV I'll say "Sure hun" and open a huge cabinet of 90s cartoons feat. Old Disney and other animated movies like Balto, Dexter's Lab, Batman Beyond, Jackie Chan Adventures, etc I'll be an awesome parent.

Your teacher sounds like he needs to take an anger management class!

LOL, no I don't have one.

Speaking of mall stores, I'm utterly disgusted at how perverted Spencer Gifts became!! Ok, it was kinda bad when I was a teen - but it's just plain raunchy now. I went into there recently, but that was it.

That's a good thing that everything is on DVD huh? Did you ever watch Batman The Animated Series? I loved it more than Batman Beyond. Balto made me cry!! But it was classic. So was the original Land Before Time.

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-20 18:00:25 +0000 UTC]

Spencer Gifts.. that sounds familiar. D: Judging on your description, maybe it's not worth looking into.

LOL yeah, now everything is going Blu-Ray. D: I wonder what's next... little chips or something?

Yes, I did!! I was so sad that I couldn't find the DVDs for that one though. Maybe I can get it off of Amazon. Land Before Time was awesome for the first two movies, but now they have like, 15 of them. x_x

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-20 23:54:22 +0000 UTC]

I was gonna give you a link to their website, but then I saw they they sold sex toys!

I hope they don't do lil chips. Is blu-ray really all that successful? I hope it fails so I don't have buy all of my dvds again!!

I love the old cartoons so much!! Now it's just crap. The only show that seems sort of decent is Ben 10. My hubby is big on that show

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-21 00:10:46 +0000 UTC]

LOL thank you. I've never seen a dildo before, all I know is what it does and let's leave it at that.

It'll gain steam soon enough. That's how it was with DVDs. -_- I would like to keep my VHS's, thank you very much!

Yes! It was because of Land Before Time that I began to eat broccoli. I hated the stuff before but my sisters convinced me to eat it by saying "Littlefoot... yummy tree..." and waving it in front of my face. So I relented and at least ate the leafy part. xD Then they said "No, you have to eat all of it!" and I protested "Littlefoot doesn't eat the trunk! D:" Cartoons nowadays don't teach morals like that, they just teach you how to make poop jokes. -_-

LOL Why are adult men so caught up in Ben 10? I think it's stupid but whatever.

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-21 07:03:36 +0000 UTC]

*shudders* Eww, and so we shall!!

I'm still hoping that it will fail. Just like how beta max did.

Oh my gosh!! I used to pretend that I was Littlefoot when I ate my broccoli too!! I never ate the stem part, just the tops!! I first learned about prejudice from that movie. It made me sad to see how Cera treated Littlefoot badly because of her father's influence.

I don't know, but I am very grateful that my hubby even though he's 41 still appreciates cartoons! Some nights we just watch the old X-Men cartoon from the early 90's together. I HATED X-Men Evolution cuz they made Nightcrawler stupid and secular!!! I love me a pious Catholic Nightcrawler.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-21 17:03:28 +0000 UTC]

Oh Betamax. That thing was fugly. xD

LOL oh twinsy, I suppose you love broccoli in its entirety now? I hated Cera so badly, that little biotch. D: At least she learns her lesson in the end, unlike the brats in Glee who keep on acting horrible. Littlefoot was my favorite because everyone else was annoying. ^^

Man, more people need to appreciate cartoons D: No one is too old for cartoons! I was introduced to the X-Men via the old 90s toons so I had no idea that Nightcrawler was supposed to be a pious Catholic. xD I always thought he was a party animal.

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-21 17:29:57 +0000 UTC]

I do like broccoli, but I like asparagus better.
LOL, you watch Glee? I know it's really popular. Is it any good?
I liked Ducky. Did you know that the girl who did her voice was murdered by her father? Littlfoot was a cutie and I wanted to hug him after his mother died.

LOL, back in the day my parents were addicted to watching Pocahontas! I guess it reminded them of themselves.
See? They ruined Nightcrawler!!! This is how he is SUPPOSED to be : [link] I think cartoons these days are too politically correct and chicken to pust something like that in there now!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-21 17:40:55 +0000 UTC]

MMm asparagus. Do you dip it in mayo?

Uh, I watched the pilot episode and it was all right. Just a bunch of kids singing in a club. But then it dramatically changed with the next episode and so on. I hate teen dramas because they always make them horny, bratty drug addicts. Everyone in my school is insane about it so I know a bit about it. I don't recommend it, save your brain cells. >B(

Oh my gosh, are you serious? That is terrible. T_T Was it in the news or something? I'm going to wiki that right now.

Your parents and Pocahontas LOLLLLLLL Yeah, maybe it does remind them of themselves. I love the old Nightcrawler's accent and Wolverine's butthurt. I would have never guessed that Nightcrawler was supposed to be a preacher More research to be done!

Gothic-Sorrow In reply to tobase [2011-04-21 20:54:37 +0000 UTC]

Cooked or raw? I've never heard of such a marriage... I usually saute mine with butter and add some pepper. Mmmmmm is fabulous with steak.

I'm guilty of watching 90210. It's such a train wreck of a sleezy show. But it's a guilty pleasure of mine. None of the characters are admirable and it's so over the top and lame. It's gonna get canceled soon I think. Low ratings I must be the only one watching it....

It was really sad to hear about. Poor girl, I think her mother was murdered too.

It was like every weekend they wanted us to put it on for them. I'm LMAO about "Wolverine's butthurt" is that a real word?!?! It's soo funny. Yeah, Nightcrawler was such a cool guy!!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tobase In reply to Gothic-Sorrow [2011-04-21 22:06:39 +0000 UTC]

Either. Pepper makes me sneeze T.T I haven't had steak in a long long time...

Lulz, what's that? It sounds like a cop show. You probably are the only one who watches it! The last live action TV show I enjoyed watching was Pushing Daisies, and even that was a bit saucy.

Crap, that was really sad. So much for waking up in a good mood. -.- I hope Judith and her mom are in heaven now. The dad... not so much.

Harr harr, did your parents sing along to the songs and act out the bits between Smith and Pocahontas? I would die an unhappy death if my parents did that in front of me. Yeah, butthurt is a real (Internet) word, here's the definition : An inappropriately strong negative emotional response from a perceived personal insult. Characterized by strong feelings of shame. Frequently associated with a cessation of communication and overt hostility towards the "aggressor." This is the typical reaction I get from liberals whom I challenge on Youtube.

In a long time!?!? Wow girl, what do they feed you?

It's about a high school in Beverly Hills. A bunch of rich whiney sucks who date each other and have dumb drama. I have lost brain cells from watching it.

Me too, I was really sad when I heard about it. I hope that they are in Heaven too.

No they didn't thank the Lord!!! *shudders at the thought* I think that that is my new fave word! I'm not surprised that they get butthurt...Everyone's gotta be tolerant to their beliefs but they don't have to be tolerant towards everyone else's. *rollseyes*

Oh wow, why do you even watch it? You're capable of viewing much more intelligible things!

Yeah, I didn't think so. I use the word butthurt a lot actually, much to my dad's displeasure "Can't you use a better word? D:" "But it's so catchy..."

LOL, no problem at all!! If you live on the west coast, have you ever eaten at In & Out Burger? Mmmmmmm

I don't know why I watch it. I think I started watching it because I liked the theme song. The only shows right now that I watch on a constant basis is Fringe and the O'Reily Factor. *shrugs*

I'm just sitting here laughing to myself...butthurt... Gosh that is too funny!!

Yes, I do like In-N-Out ;D But we only eat it if we go on long Exoduses to somewhere. I love their animal fries. Onions or no onions?

LOL. Consider this... the time you spend watching a stupid TV show could be used to practice your new tablet.

Isn't it funny? But if you can't say it without laughing, don't use it if you're accusing someone of butthurt. They won't take you seriously if you're laughing. And yeah, seeing that you watch the O'Reily Factor... that's going to be one butthurt factor for whatever liberal you encounter.

Happy Good Friday to you too Miss. Does your family do anything special for Easter besides going to church?

Our wedding wasn't over the top. All that mattered to us was that we were married in the Church. We then had tacos for our reception! If I could change anything, it would have been my dress. I think I would have gone for something more conservative.
