Hi guys! Now it's time for a manip. Since I saw Summer Glau in Serenity and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles I've known she's the perfect girl to play X-23 and I've wanted to manip her as the Wolverine clone for a long time.In case you don't know, X-23 is Wolverine's female clone who struggles to become more human instead of being a killing machine like she was created for.

Cool, so there actually IS a female Wolverine? That's awesome. I love the idea that women can be as strong, tough, and bad-ass (to use Hugh Jackman's name for it) as Wolverine. Shame I never got to read the comic books. I did love the cartoon though.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, needs YOUR help!
The show has recently suffered a drop in ratings, and rumours and speculation are flying around that the show might not make it to a third Season. This would be a crying shame to all of us who watch, and we need to do something about it. You may say "what can I do about it?" Well, here's the answer; when it seemed doubtful that TSCC would even get the back 9 episodes, massive fan response - including petitions and a mail and email campaign, helped get FOX to greenlight the back 9 episodes. I firmly believe that the ratings will improve and that the show will pick up its pace again within the next two episodes. But I fear that the ratings so far may have hurt our chances.
If you want to see TSCC make it to Season 3, then please take some of your time to write to both FOX and Warner Bros and make our voices heard. There are no Nielsen boxes in either college dorms nor in military bases - both groups make up a large chunk of FOX' desired 18-49 demographic (so any students and serving soldiers reading this, LISTEN UP!) we need to write to FOX and Warner Bros; tell them you love the show. Tell them WHY you love the show. (don't list things you don't like, there are forums to bicker about that) Tell them of the potential you see in the show. Include some basice demographic information (age, sex, country, maybe occupation).

I've also created a petition, urging FOX to renew the show for a third season, and as part of an overall fan effort to support the show and try to get Season 3. I believe there's every chance we will get a Season 3, but I also don't want to leave it to chance, and if enough of us do this, it might help tip the scales slightly in TSCC's favour. Fan response got us the back 9; it can do it again.

See, my iconic X23 is the way mark choi draws her [link] which is significantly less asian. However, when it comes to experience in that genre and kiss @$$ acting skills, there's none better than glau

Well her story in Firefly and Serenity is basically the X-23 story. I would love to see her cast for it if they ever made a movie. Just seems like the obvious choice. Great pic!

Great choice. The first time I saw Serenity, I swear to god, I said they ripped off X-23 (Except the whole psychic thing the girl had going). And through the Terminator series, she's been the best killing machine out there, and the terminators were built for the same reason Laura was. This chick is perfect. Great job.

Thank you! Yeah, I said the same thing when I saw Serenity, that and Terminator is what inspired me to do this manip. She's got that cool attitude and she's great in both Serenity/Firefly and Terminator.

this is really good. I love the girl and the blood and the background.. but the dead bodies look a tad cut out, their edges are harsh and the blood coming out of them doesn't look too real. But you've done a great job overall

I like how it came out but I think Jamie Alexander from Kyle XY(Jessi) would be better for X-23. I think she looks the part better.

Thanks! I think Jamie Alexander would be good for X-23 too, but I haven't seen her doing her own stunts (I just saw her in the first two episodes of the second season of Kyle XY). Summer Glau has a similar "killing machine" role in Terminator and I think she's doing great. Thanks for your suggestion!

Well in the more recent episodes(episodes 10 of season 2 and onward) you see her doing more and more with her abilities and she's not being used by Madacorp anymore.
