This is probaly one of my favorite songs. Though I don't listen to it to often, I still love it. Anywayz...I got the idea for this while exercising. Surprisingly, the song did not inspire this. Haha. I wrote the song because it came to mind with the picture. Deals with the whole suicide thing again. Moreso, the cutting part. Eh...I'm sure cuts aren't that red if they're scarred. But they are if they're fresh, I'm sure. So yes. Hope the hospital gown looks okay. I looked online for picks before doing it. I wish I knew what the gowns looked like, when my brother went to the hospital. Mind you, it wasn't for cutting at all either. >.> I forget why actually. Anywayz...the light green/blue seemed to be popular, and more easy than white with the things on them. So yeah. Lets see...also hope I got the arms and proportions right. I had my brother pose for me for this. lol. But not for long, because I didn't want to take away from what he was doing. I think the body is off. It was so hard drawing it. Ugh. And my coloring is crappy. Bah. Stupid pencils. And you know what? I lost my damn pen again! So it will be awhile till you see stuff from me. Probaly till I get my paycheck and then order those copics...grr. And thats it. Hope the words can be seen well, too.Mediums - Pencil, Ink, Prismacolor Colored Pencils, System 3 Acrylic Paint

It's called... "Haunted Summer" by Hope Dahle Jordan. It's a really good book. I read it before destroying it. Haha. It was the first alt. book I did..

Hmm... I guess I was just curious. Since I could see a bit of the writing, it intrigued me. I do that with a lot of things though. Like magazine clippings. I'll start reading the back and wish I had the rest of the article.
I might just go check out the book now that I know whom it's by. Also, I've always wanted to do that to a book, and I really like what you've done with yours. Cheers!

I think that the hips should have been higher yto give the body some shape, cause she is kinda straight. The picture and song are very powerful, and they complement each other. I have a personal conection to the picture,a nd I think that you convey the idea very well.

I think you got the proportions down pretty well! The only thing to me is the butt area (rump?) looks kind of big compared to everything else. But other than that, this is very nicely done!
I never understood the whole cutting thing. I mean, I don't get why people feel better if they punish or hurt themselves. Of course, I guess they can't help it. But hey, I don't understand why people have obessive compulsive tendencies and I have them, so what do I know?
