“I caught a falling star”, she said, lifting a hand to the riotous sky, and her smile was almost dreamy. “It cut my hands to pieces.”

[ Edge of Time – llamajoy ]

This work was inspired by Llamajoy’s Final Fantasy VIII fanfiction Edge of Time . Those who have played the game will most likely recognize the clock tower from Ultimecia’s castle as the main inspiration for the setting, although I did it all my own way.
I had a lot of fun doing this piece. Since of course you can’t find a clock tower photographed from this angle, I basically had to build it using a plain brick wall texture, which was pretty fun. A very special thanks goes to my dear dani-stock for the clock photo, since she took it aptly for me. By the way, modelling for this work was a pain, since I had to hang in balance on the table to get the right position. I’m wondering how the poor guy is sitting on the hand, but that’s it.
