Here is our brilliant inventor in her presentation shoot. She is a brainy and gifted artisan who, tired of her grey and boring town, decided to team up with the Emerald Pilot and the Copper Butterfly and travel through the whole world to show her wonderful creations and earn everlasting fame. She always wears her mechanical hat, which provides her with countless tools to work, even in emergencies, and whenever the Pilot’s airship breaks down it’s her who repairs it. Oh well, those rusty wrecks!

It was nice to conceive a background story for this series of photos. Of course, during the short time it took us to get to the set I could only come up with the main stuff like the characters personality and such, and I did the main stuff once I got back home and started postprocessing the photos, but at least the first ideas helped me with the approach to the photos. That’s how I came up with the idea of some individual presentation shots first.
I guess the background story is extremely clichéed in the Steampunk culture, but whatever: that’s what it is, a background story, not a novel.
