Thanks. I was in full panic mode. I was still getting comfortable with the Copic markers, and after doing small art on sketchcards, the thought of doing something this large made me nervous. What compounded the issue was that the gentleman stuck around to watch me work on it.
I got about 2/3 into the thing and felt like I was failing (the way I do when I watercolor); there's always this point in any piece where I feel I've ruined the piece and then through the magic of a few key shades and strokes the damn thing comes together.
It's why I advise anyone learning (markers especially) to simply trust the end product and not panic (despite me ever panicking still) and attack the art like you mean it.

Heh, that is one of the reasons I didn't go pro. (in addition to lacking the discipline & commitment necessary for the Job. Guilty as charged.)I can only imagine the pressure of a client looking over your shoulder when you think you are failing the assignment. A very tight corner to come out. However, as far as I can see this baby can be qualified as an "incredible comeback". Although, I can spot a few candidate areas for your initial concerns, you managed to pull this off gracefully.

That's super cool. I like the style you picked. It has an awesome, rugged, adventurous feeling to it.
