now that im thane evrywhere im the new butcher. i kill all the guards in each hold, take evrything except one weapon to show how i killed tham(like an arrow for shooting a guy to death)then i dump evrything else into the nearest water source.

For me it was tied between Ralof and Ulfric but then one day my dear Fayne was talking to Ralof and he proceeded to say "Have you always been that ugly?" She then took out her bow and shot him in the knee before leaving Riverwood and going back home to Windhelm (Where a creepy serial killers lives in a secret room). Now Ulfric is my favorite β₯ and He and Fayne would wed if only he was a marriage candidate!

I just reeeeally liked ralof's voice at first, but then I heard ulfric's and I was like Yeeessss I really wish they did more with the civil war quests, they ended too quickly so I was disappointed with that (that and the dark brotherhood was disappointingly short too)

Better a mad dog and a bunch of hearty, hale warriors who'll not even stop at death than a bunch of cowardly puppets who spit on their own culture and only speed up the enslavement of the 'lesser' races of Tamriel.

but take a step back and look at it from a political stand point. the Empire is the only thing keeping the dominion out of Skyrim and its other provinces. While many Nords still worshiped Talos (either despite or inspite of teh treaty with the Dominion) The Empire never really took an issue with that. Gaurds, Yarls and imperial officials routinely ignored Talos worship, except when representatives of the Dominion visited. No one really cares untill Ulfric started to rock the boat. The people of Skyrim already deal with the threat of the Dominion looming overhead, do they really need a Civil War? Not to mention when Ulfric's righthand man mentioned calling a moot Ulfric said screw the moot. He's becoming tyrannical. Not to mention the fact that he is a blatant racist and jingoist. I take many issues with his hatred of anything not nordic.....very white supremicist.

But eventually the Dominion would've overthrown the Empire and taken over all of Tamriel. The Empire bending over backwards for the Thalmor only slows down the problem, and after Ulfric reunites Skyrim as High King (he actually never said screw the moot, he just knew that the moot had no choice but to pick him as High King, Galmar was all like, "Wut about the moot?" and Ulfric's like, "Bitch please, who else are they going to pick?", all the jarls were on his side afterall), he is in command of the first humans, a race of the strongest and hardiest warriors to ever grace Tamriel who have ancient blood feuds with the Aldmeri - I mean, even Hammerfell managed to kick the Dominion's ass, whaddya think the sons and daughters of Kyne are going to do to those arrogant elves?
I simply can't respect a bunch of cowards who willingly bend backwards and spit on their culture for a bunch of elves. Ever since the Septims fell, the Empire is not something worthy of respect. They're weak and crumbling, and they're dragging Skyrim down with them, not to mention Titus Mede II has been sent to the Void (canonically).
Now, the Empire and the Stormcloaks can't be separated into black and white. It's true that Ulfric is racist, but the Nords and Altmeri and Dunmeri have always had old blood feuds, it's not really that surprising. And though the Dunmer are my favorite race, they aren't really doing themselves any favors (read 'Dunmer of Skyrim', it's totally Dunmeri-supremacist) in Whiterun, but the Nords do mention that the Dunmeri in Riften are better, hardworking and such.
Ulfric is a charismatic leader, though he often lets his personal grievances get in the way of his goals. Still, give me an Empire-free Skyrim anyday - I'd take that over Thalmor back-scratchers.

You make several valid points, but while the Empire is trying to delay the inevitable Ulfric is rushing his people and all of tamriel towards fullscale war. It would also be beneficial to the human races to present a united front towards the Thalmor. If they don't then each province will try to handle the issue themselves and may even join the dominion. The empire is the best chance humanity and all free people have against the dominion.

You forget that the Dominion is only keeping the piece as long as it suits them. As soon as they see the Empire trying to regain its strength they will attack it anyway regardless of how much diplomacy the Empire is willing to do. The Empire is not in a great shape and the Thalmor won't leave it alone if it becomes a threat. So the whole thing about the empire trying to regain its strength is a fiasco in my mind. The Thalmor have already begun preparations for the second war so really the whole civil war is to weaken both sides, Ulfrics victory is just as worse as the empire winning for them so either way they will declare war. The Empire keeping Skyrim will only drag it down with them as in the last war. Itβs becoming decadent, inept, prone to inaction, and lets itself and its politics manipulated by elves that have no reason to follow the empires interests. The Dominion doesn't give a damn about whatβs best for the empire only whatβs best for them. Why do you think they "support" the legion is skyrim. They don't want is to become a rallying point for the other provinces and races and repeat the mistakes with the redguards.The empire are a puppet willingly or unwillingly.
