This design was originally inspired by a friend who wanted a unique Little Mermaid tattoo. I made several, but this was both her favorite and mine. I'm also entering this in a contest for the group #artnouveaulink to contest rules>>artnouveau.deviantart.com/jour…

Perfectly balanced composition and I love the details like the scales trailing along her spine. The scene on the background really adds to the art nouveau feel! Your friend is lucky to get a tattoo like this ^^
