Description I got into the hills and away from light pollution just in time to see the moon set. That turned out to be fortuitous timing!

I have never seen a super moon Its cloudy every time.

Thank you, Carl! I thought we were going to have clouds, or too much smoke from the fires, but it turned out to be very clear Sunday morning, and on subsequent mornings. This is what I was talking about over on FB--sometimes a sleeping difficulty is a blessing!
