"I turned into the very thing my mother hated. Will this haunt me forever?"

In an interesting flash of inspiration, I would like to introduce you all to my new shading/lighting style. For a long time, I always thought I could do better than what I was doing previously and it seems I'm finally breaking through.

With that being said, I also would like to introduce Failed Evolutions. In my update post, I talked a little bit about the concept and how it worked. For those who missed it, this is what Failed Evolutions are:

"Failed Evolutions are Pokemon whos evolution process either stops pre-maturely (causes their pre-evolution appearance to remain partially or completely intact), or causes the pokemon to evolve with part of their "other" parent’s appearances. Pokemon who become failed evolutions are seen as abominations/amalgamations with only a few locations that accept or embrace them as the location's Guardian(s) or Leader(s) are one themselves...but most reject it outright."

When coming up with this concept, I wanted to create something that felt possible, but also unique. In the story, even with the same parts, two ailed evolutions will never be completely the same (Unless twins, etc.). The chances of this occurring naturally is very, very, low, but will increase or flat out happen if something unnatural will happen during the process. Never touch a Pokemon while it is evolving. Some weird stuff my happen.

In Liloxi's case, His parents were not only two different species, but neither one of them were of a Buneary evolution-line or had it in their family genes (His dad was the main cause of this), thus the chances of him becoming at Fail Evolution was 100%. When he went to go evolve, his Evolution Process suddenly shattered and he was left with some parts of his body still a Buneary, some a Lopunny, and sadly, a Glalie as well. Since he wasn't female, his chances of becoming one was very low. The moment he realized what he turned into, on top of being a failed evolution, he broke the horn on his head and ran away, crying.
