Description Piece number 2 in my Gods and Goddesses Series, just finished it today on a break at work. This is Hades....welcome to hell, lol.

Now, I had the wonderful experience of viewing this as WIP, so I'm greatly pleased to see the finished work. I admire Luna for being able to so wonderfully "grow" these rather involved and complex pieces very organically, and not only are they descriptive (love these "glimpses" in her "Gods" series that do not rely on showing you the Gods themselves!), but they are as much a riot of color, and a celebration of the process (which I know, for a fact, that she derives great joy from!). Here, we've all the elements that would lead us to this particular God; the molten depths, the stone-path Gateway, even the fuming sulfur, and the juxtaposition of Olympus and the "Above" world, and still, all with a path that leads... you know where. Bravo, Lu!

Wow! Thanks so much for the mini-critique. This is exactly why none of my pieces are planned. I had to start this one over 4 times and it was extremely frustrating. Every time I would put a line down, I would hate the direction it was going and trash it. Just glad I finally cleared my head and let the Sharpies do what they wanted. I am so happy you figured out that was sulfur fumes in the background, bc the shading to get it to look right was a challenge. Really appreciate all the feedback, you're awesome! :d
