Description These are the field service uniforms of the DPRK's KPA, or the North Korean Army. The belts seem to be worn optionally by generals and officers, but on the most part everyone from top to bottom wears a belt if they were issued one. The uniform cut and color seems to vary quite a bit, but such is life in this kind of a country.

The North Korean caps just look too big for their head.

I think they don't look perfectly realistic, but everybody got his own style.
i would tilt the cap a little bit to the back, not so straight because thats the way they wear it.
Furthermore the color is a little to "red".
But overall nice work.

THEY ARE UTTER DISGRACES TO ALL MILITARY CAPS! (why couldn't they just keep the old soviet style ones?...)

Because they're short compared to 'american aggressors' and they're thin people.

mmm it's actually a nice and practical field uniform, just to replace the cap with something more practical, like kepi that's also used by them or other thing that like peaked cap but not really that "mushroom" and of course, replacing those shoes with combat boots. Well... not really practical for today standard, but i think for post WWII to mid 1970s this thing are actually not really bad.

I agree. The current DPRK may be the most fearsome asian military...in 1951...

To think the South Korean army is more powerful, but their uniforms? Meh. Too drab; just nothing but camo fatigues, just like most of the other American-inspired democracies like the Philippines, Australia, and Western Europe (one example the German Bundeswehr). No idea what their dress uniforms are like; Heck, even Korean dramas make their own interpretation of an ROK officer's dress uniform.

Now this is real military fashion.

They look heavily American influenced, furthering the DPRK idea that they are the pets of the Americans and if it were up to them they would unite with the North. But then at the same time, even today, the DPRK uniforms are like copy and paste of Soviet uniforms besides the mushroom hats.

I wonder if in a hypothetical communist Japan, it might be a hybrid between the Soviet Army and the Imperial Japanese Army, seeing as how the East German uniforms are basically a commie version of the Wehrmacht.

I'm pretty sure it would be, But it is awkward yet intriguing to see the DDR uniforms...Wehrmacht/SS uniforms with added attributes from their former SWORN ENEMIES.

Drawing rocket man I would want to start off with a fat man base at birthday suit level, and I'm not sure I feel like doing all of that right now. I don't want to just do what I did with Goring and have fat men with no base or template, a one time use thing...

Wait, did you forget that I attempted to do the rocket man (but based on how a satirical Hollywood movie depicted him)?....

So you did get around to making them. They look good to me. Well not the uniforms themselves, but your depiction of them.

The mushroom hats make their return. The cap badge and pin look great. Now, if we could make this look all wrinkled, as if it has never been pressed. That'd definitely add to the authenticity But seriously. Great work! I'd like to see the officer's open collar service uniform someday. But like the Soviet officer service uniform, be aware of the lapel shapes. They're similar.

Yes, the mushroom kingdom has returned. Hopefully I cover more, but I do kinda feel like continuing the Panterria stuff.

I think that doing what you want to continue with is a better idea. I'm sure there are some around that would like to see more Panterria stuff in the meantime.

Not sure what causes it but my attention when it comes to this stuff wavers around a lot...for a while I was interested in none of it and drew my KRITE stuff...

Welp, there'll be more. Stay tuned.

That kind of thing happens to the best of us. Our interests in one project waiver, to the point we'll drop it for sanity's sake. Only to end up working and potentially completing a completely unrelated project. Sometimes doing that ends up being satisfying in some way. Perhaps more so than sticking to the one project that causes one to waiver from. Then it wouldn't be enjoyable anymore.

And sure. I'll stick around and see what else you'll come up with.
