I've been wondering for a while, what is the difference between the Tuchrock and the Luftwaffe Waffenrock? They seem almost identical to me.

The waffenrock buttons up to your neck and the tuchrock stays open always with a tie.

It is supposed to be the war merit cross first class without swords.

Never saw one worn on the chest, never even saw one without swords. On the other hand I'm a noob.

Question: If the ranks go (2-blade, 3-blade, 4-blade), shouldn't the 4-blade General have one more 'pip' on his shoulder insignia? Just curious. Awesome job, by the way!

I didn't think the 4-blade General rank existed, but then I thought it might've been established later in the war, like other ranks were for other branches of the Wehrmacht.
