Description
Naomi was a college student studying biology and genetics before becoming the superheroine Honeycomb.

On a visit to HIVE Labs, who were performing genetic experiments on various bee species, to help bee reproduction, pollination and growth to combat the slow decline of bees around the world and plants due to industry. An extreme environmentalist group raided the lab, believing the experiments on the bees were harmful. Naomi fled and accidentally entered the lab with the main hive, which was disturbed in an explosion. She was swarmed by genetically altered bees. Instead of causing harm to Naomi however, she found herself linked with the Queen Bee, who was surprisingly hyper-intelligent.

The Queen wanted to be freed and Naomi was compelled to let them go. After the incident, Naomi found she had control over bees due to being stung so many times from the genetically altered bees.
Naomi searched for the freed Queen and after finding their new hive, she could feel their fear and decided to become the hive's Guardian. Adopting the name Honeycomb, she defends the hive from threats and with her power to control bees, fight crime in her city.

However, Naomi found herself very overwhelmed and underpowered until another hero had discovered her exploits and identity. Technomaster, a music enthusiast and technology whiz helped her learn to fight and even developed gadgets for Naomi. He gave her a wing pack to allow Naomi to fly and with Naomi's help, created her signature Honey Blaster. With permission from the Queen, she utilizes a special honey concoction that her and Technomaster developed to basically become a very powerful glue. While Honeycomb prefers to support other heroes from a distance with the various different honey concoctions her and Technomaster have developed over the years. She is no slouch in a fight.

She's incredibly agile and flexible, plus being trained by several other heroes in various fighting styles. She also has a retractable Stinger Sword attached to her right arm (not pictured.)

Honeycomb currently fights alongside the Junior Protectors. A team of young superheroes who train under the supervision of BARRIER (this universes' SHIELD.)
