Description Normally I leave comments and leave with my peace of mind. If someone says something I'll pop in and see if they're worth saying something two. For roughly a month a comment I haven't been paying attention to caught my eye by the rather.......bizarre name. Usually if I do this I'll leave the person anonymous but the name is begging to be explained. This person is named Chinese Communist Party and he will be our guest for today. The video is a Sonic Adventure 2 video for some context and relevance.

"Nobody has said anything about classic sonic being overused...get the fuck out you undertale cancer"

No idea what his malice with Undertale is but one of the people who was in the section with me had an Undertale avatar and I guess he got triggered.

I say something calling attention to how his malice towards Undertale means nothing to the arguement and how the person with the avatar's opinion shouldn't be lessened because of it.

His response...

"Your support of this cancerous Undertale magna stultus shows that you're misguided or cancer yourself, so stop."

He still never gave me a straight answer to why the person's arguement should be lessened because like have an Undertale avatar also "magna stultus" is just word salad the closest I've seen is
stultitia magna

"I seriously doubt you are over the age of 12
Anyway, if you didn't know, undertale tends to appeal to audiences with statistically alarming numbers of liberal younglings and immature adults who haven't fully developed. Undertale is a game which attracts the worst kind of society. Sadly, sonic is mostly the same now..."

Ok.....as soon as someone brings politics into an argument it has no business being in that's around the time I tune out of trying to take the person seriously and just try and humor them. I even said in a comment bringing politics to a gaming debate is a large no-no as they are unnecessary.

But this last comment mystified me

"I haven't seen people talk much about sonic forces, but when i have seen them talk about it, they compare modern sonic segments to sonic unleashed's day segments (which are... occasionally interesting) and classic sonic segments are generally considered cliche. Revelling in nostalgia? Of course. It's one of sonic team's last effective marketing techniques. But Nintendo is many magnitudes worse..."

Besides reveling having an extra "l" the last bit just pretty much proves my point and I even said while the marketing maybe effective it is not long lasting and far from it. In many ways it is limiting the amount of time the franchise has unless something new comes of it. Also I'm not too sure about how worst Nintendo is doing it as I've pointed out that yes.....they do do it but at the same time this isn't there ONLY marketing strategy I mean just look at Breath Of The Wild and the direction of Odyssey.

Dude sounds worse then my namesake, but about Sonic Tram's last effective marketing techniques, it can't be if the other games still bomb, and that the games sold perfectly fine before this marketing. They sale better then the modern garbage (Sonic 4 vs any modern game outside of Generations), but it doesn't go any further then that.

its has to do with labels and titles most likely. he tried to make you look lessvalid because the avatar of another thing that isnt sonic just to shaming you to silence (but he most likely would call a sonic troll or sa3 fan if you had a sonic avatar)

I hate people like that. Why should my arguement be less valid based on something very trivial like an avatar. Granted that was me it was someone else I told the guy that his argument shouldn't mean any less to him because of someone's avatar.
