Pyros and Snipers are the male and female of the same species, and this is a mating dance showing the Pyro has come into 'heat'. Snipers on both sides are wither watching or now competing amongst themselves.

Once the mate has been chosen, both Sniper and Pyro will guard their 'point', The Sniper and the Pyro fighting from afar and close to respectively.
