A contribution to NinDB Collab 3 , this is Luigi (ルイージ), a major character from Nintendo's Mario franchise created by Shigeru Miyamoto, ready to attack his opponents with green fireballs.

He's the brother of Mario and made his debut as the second player character in the arcade game Mario Bros. (1983). Originally, he was just a recoulered Mario, but over the time he developed into an independent character with an individual appearance (larger and thinner) and his own abilities (e.g. higher jump) as well as personality (more or less cowardly and sometimes a bit clumsy). In various games he accompanies Mario on his adventures, but there also a few featuring Luigi as the sole protagonist (most notably Luigi's Mansion).
