Is this show fun? Do cats like honey? Do bees make fish? -no - It's definately one of Cosgrove-Hall's most daftly fun shows, but then, weren't they all in their own way? So glad it's made it's way across the pond in a manner of speaking!

I've got a copy of that show on DVD from "amazon.uk".
I have to use my PC to view it though. I'd love to see my character with the penguins.

I just dug out my DVD set again - it gets more funny each time round! That musical episode was a highlight though my favourite may be the one with the big race or the James Bond spoof.

I'm surprised at how many folks outside the UK remember this show, I always assumed it was only broadcast here. Live and learn!

Wow... I reaaaaaally need to see these guys in action someday. I mean, penguins of all things, that's an obvious "plus" in my book! Haha, well, let's see then...
I like the designs of the penguins, first, or what I mean is, the way they come out in your style. It's a classic idea really, 3 characters can often times really work in a comedy. And if we can't tell their personalities or actions via their postures (which can be hard to pull off due to their small stature and stubby appendages), the clothing certainly does nicely (ie, the captain's heat insinuating his role as a leader, the others with a "pinhead" helmet, and then the small one with the helmet that covers his face). I also like their expressions, the leader's confident one, the tall one's somewhat dumbfounded one, and... actually, it's hard to tell how the fellow with the eyes covered. Now the villains on the other hand look very classical, just downright evil and sinister. And well, if their appearances do not give this away, well then the gun certainly does! They have pretty nasty appearance (one fellow has a large black jacket, that practically screams "ANTAGONIST"), and well your style really helps bring out that dark slimy feel to them.
So, what can I say, well done sir!

There may be a few episodes on Youtube. IMHO it was the last truly sitcommy/funny CH cartoon. Sadly Brian and David aren't involved, but variety is always fun.

I think V&H was the last CH project that David and Brian were involved in, at least as far as VAing goes. I don't know if Brian wrote any of the eps for it- did he?

No I think he semi-retired, but can't be certain. He wrote and voiced for a stop-frame animation called 'The Treacle People' in the late 90s I seem to recall. David went back into live-action.
I did hear that Brian has written and done voices for another series about aliens but unsure if it's still being made. Seems that the traditional clever 'kids' programmes are not so much in demmand these days.

It's incredibly well-drawn and very toungue-in-cheek. I even had the pleasure to watch Mike McShane perform at my local music hall too!
