Description
The Strength of Blood: Wu, Shu and Wei.For family, honour and conquest; for the unification of China.
So this is all three of my drawings for the three main factions from "Dynasty Warriors 6" in a sort of sideways triptych.
I was thinking it would look pretty cool to have all three lined up as I found that the impact is sorta lost when looking at all three seperately. Heh this is kind of like when movies are released seperately then re-released as a box set and everyone gets annoyed

Yeah you're right, I have been considering redrawing these actually with Cao Ren and possibly Cao Hong or Dian Wei in the Wei one 
Back when I drew these I knew less about the actual history around the period then I do now and in the games the Xiahou's always seem to be the characters most prominently associated with Cao Cao in cut scenes and dialogue and such.

This game made me so angry! they made all the girls use a whip or a bow or something else dumb -3- I liked sun shan xiang's chakram though I did grow to love Zhang Liao and his badass dual axes (he's just a bad ass in general

I agree, hopefully they fix it in DW7, if that ever gets made! Yeah Zhang Liao's axes are pretty sweet, Sun Jian's sword is awesome as well I thought.

Great work! The coloring is really beautiful (Zhang He would say that too XD) Liu Bei without a little beard? O.O Strange... . I like him more in the DW5 Empire Style XD But oh well... . It's totally cool! ^_^

lemme guess the vol 1 comes with the highly specialised cardboard box used to store all other dvd sets and was crafted by a magic cardboard anime dvd housing fairy that dictates it must charge an extra 20 bucks for the box? lol
i was looking at witchblade vol 1 the other day, the dvd by itself 20 bucks, for the one with the highly-specialised-box-suitable-for-housing-all-other-volumes it was 40

Yes highly specialised anti-anti-armour titanium aloy plated cardboard to be exact. Soo anime producers have their own army of fairies do they? That expains alot...

of course, there the uber magic fairy's that provide the costumes to all the female characters in the anime (why do you think they are always not wearing much, its because fairies are quite small in comparison to your average human and as such their average wardrobe doesnt cover much of the average female anime character (who always seems to have an incredibly large bust for a 12 year old girl))
and yes anti-anti-armour titanium alloy plated cardboard is pretty much spot on, it also contains various mixtures of an unknown substance which causes you to still buy these boxes regardless of the mortgage you have to take out to pay for it.
and yea sarcasm in other comment i fucking hate over priced bullshit, considering the aussie dollar is about 95c to 1 US dollar, you may as well buy the games overseas, and pay the extra 10 bucks postage, still cost you about half of the the price it would to buy it in stores here

and it is a great deal, just think, you could watch that 1 dvd, and store random useful things in the cardboard box (like the rest of the dvds once they are released over the next year and cost more than a gold plated house that also doubles as a private jet)
And yea retail pricing makes absolutely zero sense, the sheer complexity of it likens Neon Genesis to a 5 page childrens book made up of 90% pictures and 3 words a page
