Description
One of the many plant and fungi species that the people of the Dominion brought back with them from the Uhlara Galaxy, Kangul Fir trees are unique coniferous plants. Unlike a lot of what most would call a conifer these plants an get to a height of a hundred feet and slowly unfurl their branches out from a central growing point which contains a massive bioluminescent spore body. The newest branches form a 'nest' like structure around the base of the spore body and the glowing spores are released only at night. Curiously, these plants will not grow on any planet or location without any less than eight true night time hours. Typically they are used as a natural accompaniment to night time street lighting as their gentle glow does not disrupt night vision.
