U99 had just sunk the medium freighter "Glasgow" but lingered on the surface after recharging the batteries because of a hydraulic issue. Drawn by the tell-tale smoke column, the scout PBY Catalina "My Girl" has dropped out of the low hanging clouds to try and extract a little revenge. The first dropped depth charge was a little short but the side gunner opens up with a few quick bursts from the waist guns as the pilot pulls around for another pass.Just a fun little doodle to shake out some creative cobwebs.
