One of my favorite scenes in KUNG FU PANDA 2 (which I have already seen 4 times!)
Tigress and Po have a chat while on the boat ride to Gongmen City. Po was feeling apprehensive and distraught with the new-found information on his parentage, and Tigress helps relieve his stress by sparring with him. This, however, leads to a brief mentioning of how Po sees Tigress; an emotionless, hardcore fighting machine...
...But is that really who she is? Tigress goes through a sudden self-examination period and tries to embrace the soft kitty-cat inside of her that she has long repressed!

I love movies/characters that go through emotional struggles, and Tigress takes the bean bun with Kung Fu Panda 2. I always knew there was a soft side to her, ever since the first movie. It only makes sense that someone that hardcore can be just as equally loving underneath the surface.
Hopefully there will be a Kung Fu Panda 3 (which I'm 80% sure there will be) so Tigress character can be further studied and explored!

The KFP movies (first 2, mostly) are amazing, just for their ability to mix humor, feels, and awesome gymnastics.
Although Tai Lung will never be with equal among the villain species.

And then Mantis tries to make it all about himself.
The worst part is that the timing of Gongmen City coming into sight would've been perfect if they HAD had a heart to heart just then.

Yeah, what a dork he was. I hate it when Po and Tigress were interrupted. I HATE IT. How could they do that? Get our curiosity and then ruin it. >

I LOVED these two characters interaction in the second movie and we got to see more development from them.
These two do have a connection being orphaned together and good to see Tigress understand Po as well when he was dealing with his identity and his parents.
The second movie definitely made me appreciate these two a LOT more, and sweet motherfucking Jesus that hug scene!
That was powerful and showed how much she cared!

Only 4 times?? I watch part of it several times weekly! But then again, I do it to find parts that I can use in YouTube-tributes. Go to my YouTube-account (same nick as here) and watch my (so far) two TiPo-vids if you want.
I absolutely love the boat scene too! What I really love about it is those tiny little eye details that make the conversation so much deeper. And the nods! Love the nods!

It had been 3 months that the Jade Palace legends of the Valley of Peace had seen any action. The Furious Five were themselves Masters in martial arts, and Po had defeated both Tai Lung and Lord Shen so Master Shifu couldn't train him any further... and so had woken up bored stiff and don't know on what to do!
It was only then that when Po thought of seeing and helping out his dad, that Tigress thought of helping him out too to get rid of her boredom... which then turned to the rest of the Five, and then Master Shifu thought of doing community work as he couldn't teach anybody but children.
But peace was about to be intrupted by a new nemesis that eats his victims after invading a place or location to leave shear terror on survivors... an evil, cannibalistic, sadistic black panther from Japan!
