Just a couple colored and uncolored doodles of my ponysona, Pencil Sketch. Very informal, but intentionally so. I have a hard time deciding on a proper eye color for Sketchy, cuz I believe in both real life and in art, eyes are the window to the soul and are exponentially important. So I take eye color very seriously, especially when dealing with the pony-version of myself. I want her eyes to be colorful and bright, but not fade into the whites of her eyes. I want them essentially to be pulled from the main color of her cutie mark, a pencil, so yellow is a must. But that can get overpowered by the orange of her coat and ashgffgAGDSFGFL!!

So yeah, I'm in a character designing pickle. I'll get it down, hopefully. Until then, here's the official character model sheet for my girl!

So...In case you guys are interested enough, I'll throw a little personality traits your way about this character...

Pencil Sketch (or just "Sketch" as she usually prefers) is a fun, loving, caring, and excitable pony. As indicated by her name and cutie mark, she is an artist and loves to draw. She draws by handling the pencil or art utensil in her mouth, as any earth pony would be forced to do. She's talented enough where most unicorns (being able to levitate objects) are often very jealous of her skills. There's an innocence to her that keeps her almost constantly optimistic -- an ear-to-ear smile usually being her default expression. But she understands a serious situation when there is one. She's by no means a dumb pony; she's just extremely knowledgeable in her fields of interests, and that leaves her easily surprised and excitable by almost everything else. She's gullible and falls for jokes easily. She relishes in the sweet little comforts in life like sleeping in late, enjoying a good meal, and traveling across Equestria! She is honest and dependable and cherishes those traits in other ponies. Sketchy's got a big heart that matches her big hair and just loves being who she is
