Description A freaking YETI SIGNATURE. Before he ever signs it.... I am disappointed...

I just like Jack's face in this shot... It's like.... like he SEES IT, you know...? Like he KNOWS......

Maybe the clip where he signs it, unlike the rest of the post credits scene, is a mini prequel to the events of the film.

Well seeing how this is animated it could have been taken from the scene where he signed it or just a loop

He wasn't suppose to have that until the end of the movie.

awww its ok mistakes happen XD it probably happened because when making a movie, the ending is done first (or so i heard lol) so they probably did the ending first, and then used the same book to go back to the beg. XD

GreatDarkNoodleKing In reply to Golden-Apple-Ribbon [2013-04-02 21:46:03 +0000 UTC]

well, when I watched the film with director commentary the people said the first scenes they animated were the very first scenes with Jack on the lake.

I think it was an accident. I've seen bigger misses from ediotrs in other movies, so... you know... at least this is tiny and only lasted a split second.

I think it's either that OR someone would've wrote on it on purpose (doodling on the book).

1st thought: You have a VERY GOOD EYE.

2nd thought: CURSE OF THE TIME TRAVELLING BOOK!

3rd thought: DreamWorks, you always pay attention to detail. I thought you were better than this little slip up.

Hahaha, your thoughts followed mine pretty much to a Tee.

I only spotted it cuz my computer has better resolution than my TVs... It was more obvious that way... Just like it's obvious Pitch isn't wearing a shirt under his robe...

They probably did it on purpose, for the fans. They pay attention to detail, they would not slip up like that. You never see the book again, so why would it ever be in the book in the first place. They put it there on purpose probably

Hum... interesting hypothesis... however, a question remains : why ?
Even though it's for the fans, why did they want we see that at the beginning when it'll happen at the ending ? Maybe Phil travels with North the Christmas Night and he'd already signed many books like this. XD
