Golden sun peeping through
Shades of grey and hues of blue
Reflections sit upon the lake
A mirror glance not one a fake
Silhouettes of spiky trees
Cold still air, there is no breeze
Crispy snow spread on the ground
Dampening each winter sound
Beauty held for us to see
A winter scene as it should be.
