Heh! I know what you mean... But considering that other mecha works (Dunbine, Robot Jox, etc) have used crotch-mounted weapons before, I don't think it's all that outrageous.

Robot Jox being the more prevalent, but still a fun movie, if only for the 'bot fights. Great mecha though, love the simpler head and torso design, would be awesome to see it inked and colored, plus more like it.
