always wanted to draw this but never had the time but i took a day off yesterday from doing any university work and decided to get stuck into this.had found an image on DA that i used as a reference [link]
coloured with pencils which i haven't used in a while. hope you like it!

Well, you have to exercise more on the colors and watch the reference closer, more carefully. But i suggest you to copy from the real clip cause I have already make my interpretation of it. I decided I want to do it again too, cause I really don't like it anymore...^_^

i'm not very good with colouring pencils only because i find them slow so i never put much thought into how i colour and how the colours could blend together. i never have the time anymore to practice but that is really good advice. i'll have to give it a go the next time

You see, there's two ways: you can sketch and leave a thing unfinished or you have to finish it and have a complete drawing. It's better to put in it twice the time in it then uploading something you know it's not your best trial. I say it for you. Maybe you can do best, and I'm sure you can.You HAVE to finish this drawing or re-start it. Colored pencils are all about patience. If you want to use them you have to be patient. If you're not, use something else. I don't know what's your goal when you're drawing, I want it to be my future, my job, not just a hobby. But even when it was just a hobby I put all my effort in it. If I were your art teacher I'd say tear it apart and restart. I know I'm kinda tough, I don't want to seem mean. But if you don't try your best, what's the point? You still don't deserve a real compliment, at least by me (since you choose one of my dev), you have to work harder. Promise!

wow you are tough lol you make a fair point about putting in all your effort. it's like everything else in life; if you only put in half of what you are capable of then the result is only half of what you want. it's a flaw i have with everything i do whether it's my art or my work for university. and patience is never something i'm good at either lol i've been using DA for quite a while and only recently i've been getting feedback on what i upload but this is by far the best feedback i've gotten. now all i want to do is start this over and make an even better drawing! you really have motivated me to do better! thank you! hopefully in a few weeks you'll come across this drawing of mine again and it will be better! thank you!!
