Death Eaters set fire to Hermione's house, and Draco rescues her, shielding her from the cold with his coat as they make their escape.My entry for the 2011 DMHG Gift Exchange, made for Sage. The theme was "darkest before the dawn." Here was her request:
"Darkest before the dawn" but preferably in a hopeful way, a peacoat, a moment of truth (whether that be in honesty, bravery, fear, acceptance, the turnout of a situation, etc; something that was once hidden and then revealed).

This is gorgeous! And I really did think it came from a full fanfic, not just a little drabble you made up for a contest. I would love to read a story behind this picture. I may have to write it myself.
