Description
He was Commander Stark – if anyone official asked – and he wore alyndor armour engraved with phoenixes instead of his red and gold titanium suit.I’ve been reading this Avenger fic called “Bend around the wind ” it’s awesome, it’s epic, and it’s full of funny gags! Yeah, yeah, it’s not my usual pairing, but I happen to find it interesting and fun to read.
But this is not the reason why I read it; no, I read it because the author has created this incredible sexy alien metal called Alyndor; it’s dark and red and light and strong and pretty much the Stuff Dwarves’ dreams are made of!

The colors are mostly grey because let’s face it, Tony is not the subject of this art, but the armor is!
So now there are only two things that will make my year: one is a scene with Tony doing a loose braid to Loki while the later works in the workshop, the other is more sexy descriptions of the Alyndor armor!

So, I'm a LARPer and I showed this to one of my leather smith buddies, and he said he'd easily be able to make this (probably not with the etchings... but I have a steady hand and could probably do that) I would probably end up getting a matching corset made to have his 'full suit' torso protection...
So yeah, If I can get him the money (and when he' done with his batman armor) I can probably get this design made into a leather suit of armor (complete with LED lights where the Crystals are

The armor is very cool, but I just think there isn't enough of it there to really protect him. One nice swift kick to the gut or balls and he's down.
The other thing I feel that I should finally ask about is this thing going around with people pairing up Stark with Thor or Loki, or Thor and Loki?
How on earth did that happen?? And no, I haven't seen The Avenger movie yet. It came out when I was trying to study.

you know, I wonder tha same thing myself: wasn't Loki the one who almost destroyed Earth? and isn't Thor so in love with Jane? then what the hell?
haha, well, I was prepareing for exams too, but then someone got me the avegers movie, and whenever I don't have internet connection I find myself watching it... still, I like this story, but it's not my favourite pairing...
Also, the author gives you very good arguments. For everything; the armor for example, is actually in its 'compact mode' like the mark V in Ironman 2 the rest of the armor is hidden inside the armor.
and you can't deny this logic, cuase hey, comics.

I half want to see the movie, then I half don't. I blame this on the fact that the person playing Bruce/Hulk, isn't either of the other two or the one you would have expected from the last Hulk movie.
In all honestly, I've never really read or see The Avenger until this movie came out. Granted, I had to learn about IronMan too, but with the hulk in there, it feels all funny for me.
Either way, I hope to see Iron Man 3 when it comes out next year.

Oh, I hated the fact it was not Edward Norton as Hulk... I really liked his version in Hulk 2, and I never heard the name Mark Ruffalo before Avengers.
If you decide to watch it, you'll be surprised, and hopefully a little bit excited.
Actually I had no idea abut the avengers before the movie.. ok, I did, because I'm a big Marvel fan, but mostly, i was rooting for the Xmen, and I always thought of the Avengers as the PC, government-sponsored "we get all the good media attention and you don't" team of superheroes, so I brushed aside any sory with them (or with the fantastic 4...yuck!)
I can't wait to see Ironman 3 either!

The Fantastic 4 wasn't that bad. But then I didn't read that many comic books. 
I think most people in main stream brushed off the Avengers. That might be why there was a movie. To make people notice them again.

And BTW, I really love the crystals in this desing, because I imagined them the way Tony's armour looks in the comics ([link] ), I mean the way they are scattered here and there.

ooooh1 I watched the link and I love that design. Yeah, from the reading I kinda suspect there are many cristals here and there (cause hey, more power) I think if I try at drawing the armour again I'll add more spheres... in the meantime, thanks for the compliment! that engraving is so alien for the ironman suits that it begged to but pasted here!
