In the image:
Sunstreaker taught Hot Rod the art of transformation, and then proceeded to do what he does best: be menacing.
And what a better place to teach the kid to transform thant in a planet with intelligent life that think they are actually vehicles.
So I noticed that for a transformer story, there’s a shocking lack of cybertronians transforming, and I feel I need to remedy that.
…there’s also a lack of other cannon/fandom particularities for those two (eg, Hot Rod’s bow, Sunstreaker’s artistic skills) but I guess I’ll try to address those later. ;D
PS: I don’t know how to draw cars, let alone alien cars…

Here's my question on this one though: We all know Sunstreaker is vain and when it comes to his paint job; he doesn't like even a little mark on it. Does his protectiveness of Hot Rod override that? Especially to the point where his paintjob is no even a remote concern?

actually, the way I see it, cybertronians have really though skin (and warriors specially so), so probably they can only get scratched or dented against extreme forces or against other cybertronians, so probably Sunny didn't suffer any kind of damage with this small incident.
...that being said, probably Sunny scolded Hot Rod later to not taunt the locals because "then I have to rescue you and my paint gets damaged!"

Is Hot Rod a hover motorcycle(thingy)? I mean, he dosen't look like a car, so motorcycle was the first thing I could think of. I still love this though :3

Oh my gosh! This gives me so many ideas for my fanfiction where Sides and Sunny have a sparkling with my OC, and they have to take her on her first drive! I might make it so that they can engage their wrist blades through the front of the alt mode and stab them into other cars! Can we say overprotective former Gladiator Opilucks much?

Good lord that side profile of Sunny smirking has got me swooning. He's so very handsome! And Sunstreaker you are not doing very good fatherly, erm, mentor-y things! oh...well okay you taught him how to transform and take on an alt mode. That's is the most fatherly thing Sunny can do for any sparkling. I really really think that's so kind and wonderful of him to do that. U.U

Nah, I think Sunstreaker looks great! It's close enough to an Earth-vehicle form that you know who he is, while still being Definitely Not An Earth Car. And him just slamming into that other car. "NOPE. YOU KEEP BACK. BAD. SHOO." And I'm imagining Hot Rod's beeping his the equivalent of him blowing a raspberry at the other car, then saying to Sunstreaker "That was so cool!!"
And now comes the next part of today's transformation lesson: How To Outrun the Cops!
I almost want to say their personal rooms, but that would be a task and a half, considering how many personal items each of them carry by now! Maybe the lander?
