And because I didn’t die, here’s a deviation!
So I was planning on drawing a cute, daylight colored scene of Dick Grayson with baby Damian.
Then suddenly….magic!

The crossover no one would have expected. I can totally see an AU for this, like, y'know how Dick by all rights SHOULD be afraid of flying after seeing his parents fall to their deaths, and yet he jumps off high buildings for fun on a daily basis? I have a feeling that's TOTALLY how he would handle these powers. He would embrace them instead of fear them. (Not to mention the finger stripes make it look fifty times as cool...no pun intended ;D)
Almost makes me want to fic it...

is this AU in Gotham or in Finland?
modern times or an idertimante momento in the past?
is people in general aware of Dick's powers? or does Dick only uses his powers when he's in costume?
is batman somewhat involved in this story or has he pulled a "Mufasa" and died? or maybe the "parents who died" were the Graysons?
who is "Elsa" in this story? is it Jason?? plz tell me it's Jason!
Who's gonna be the evil ambassor? I'm thinkign Ras but what if it's the Joker?
...o lol.. what if it's Mr. Freeze??

I'd like to think it's still in Gotham, during the same time period as the Bats normally run around in. Kind of just canon, but with a twist.
One thing's for certain, if Dick is still going to be a superhero, he's going to have to limit his powers to one side of his personality because of the whole secret ID thing. And if we're going to assume he kept them for the most part hidden in the circus (like, maybe his parents didn't want him put in the weird and unusual tent, or something), then it would be more logical for him to use them as a hero. He can't exactly do much with them as a civilian, and plus, most of his emotional issues occur in costume. Much better to outlet as Nightwing than as Dick Grayson.
Batman would totally be involved. What will be REALLY interesting to address is Bruce’s general dislike of metas working in HIS city because a). It’s HIS, and b). PROPERTY DAMAGE. I think adopting a meta child would definitely soften that blow a bit, but it would be quite fun to see how that affects little Dick’s view on his own powers when his guardian actively keeps people like him OUT of Gotham City. Talk about insecurities!
Elsa would obviously be Dick, since he's got the powers. And no matter how cheerful/friendly of a dude he is, it's comic canon that he is very capable of going off the hook, particularly when a member of his family is hurt. Add magical ice abilities into the mix? BOOM. Out of control.
(Bet he's got a better glare than Bruce though, because ICE. Get it? Nevermind...)
I think it wouldn't be so much as a Frozen crossover as it would be Dick dropped with ice powers. (The Batboys will TOTALLY never let him hear the end of it when Frozen is released in their world.) At least, that's my opinion. You're the artist, it's totes whatever you want it to be

and of course Elsa would be Dick! and he'd make and awesome Elsa!
...but Jason could be Anna...
(mostly because he has that part of his hair that is White...but hey! what if Dick accidentally hurt Jason! Oh the drama!)
And you're right! I hadn't considered the idea of Batman adopting a meta! I wonder how that would change the way Bruce trains him...?
...mmmh for some reason I can imagine Bruce taking the kid to really warm places and making work around without using his powers!
