**Third time I try to upload this, because my computer hate me!**All right this is Ninetails the boss from Okami in her human form.
I was originally going to do an Amaterasu Gijinka, but thought I wanted to draw something evil!
So I am planning to do all the bosses from Okami in their human form.
Please guys no discussions about Ninetails gender!
I personally like to think of Ninetails as a guy when I fight him, but the people have spoken and Ninetails is probably a female, which is good because otherwise I only had one other female boss gijinka.
There was actually supposed to be lightning in the sword, but I didn't have time. (I'm going on vacation!
)The tails was killing me and the clothes design was hard to come up with, but I think it turned out well.

Issun always says 'her' because he impersonated Rao.
And the game says it when it refers to him as 'Demon LORD Ninetails'. Women aren't usually referred to as lords, last time I checked. Besides that, it's on the Game's wikia.
And I'm not trying to start a fight, either, but he is a guy.

To be totally honest, I believe Ninetails is genderless, but have an appaerance of a female just like Amaterasu.
I don't get what you mean about Issun "always" say her about Ninetails. He only says it one time and that is right before you fight Ninetails. He also calls Ninetails a wench, which is a female.
But I don't really want to use those as arguments, since some tranlations might have gone wrong when they translated the game from japanese to english. In the japanese version they never refer to Ninetails as Demon Lord. It just reads :γγ₯γ¦γ(meaning Kyuubi(Meaning Ninetails)) when refered to Ninetails.
Which means "Lord" was probably the closest the translaters could get to Ninetails japanese title, which might have been a title that would fit both genders. The english version of the game, can't really be used as an arument as far as titles and names goes.
And as for the Wikia. It actually says Gender : Male (supposedly) meaning the people making that article wasn't sure themselves. That site was made by he fans of Okami and everybody could have wrote that article...
I think Ninetails is a female since you can hear in it's voice. Even though Ninetails' voice is very deep, you can hear it is a female voice which has just been pitched down. If you compare Ninetails voice to The Spider Queen's and Blight's voices, you'll hear that Ninetails voice is closer to the Spider Queen's voice, than it is to Blight's (And I hope we can all agree that the Spider Queen is a BLOODY woman XD) . They are demons, that is why their voices are so deep. Even when they are female.
And I know you are not trying to start a fight. I just I didn't want you to think I was trying to start a fight.

The main reason I made Ninetails a girl in this picture is because, otherwise the Spider Queen would've been the only female boss. And I wanted to draw more female bosses. XD

I think that true art can be defined (or viewed) in different ways so this way it's more then just a simple human with nine tails standing on top of a castle with its divine weapon

I've always thought of Ninetails as a female because of Rao and because most kitsunes are female. heh.

I don't know about you but I'd like to think the ninetails looks waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy better as a girl, plus it would make since only bc Rao is a woman.
