And now moving on to some Zelda art! When was the last time I drew a comic? Hmm, seems like forever ago! And I think I know why...BECAUSE THEY TAKE SOOOO FREKIN' LONG!!!!
Although that may be all my fault considering how much a perfectionist I am, how many panels I end up adding, and how many layers I have (which all makes my computer slower and slooooooooower!) Well I had this idea in my head for a while, so I thought, "meh, why the hell not?"

Remember the last cartoon drawing of Princess Zelda I did? ( greenyosh.deviantart.com/art/W… ) ....me neither....funny thing is I hadn't ever seen the Zelda TV show back then, so I really had no idea what I was quoting. That was back when the only connection to Zelda I had was through SSB and Twilight Princess! But I'm a HUGE Zelda fan now, so expect more Zelda art! Including these comics! See how I even created a header for them! The only reason I would ever spend my time to create a header like that would be b/c I would use it more then once for more of these comics...right? I sure hope so!

Hell, I even created an all new Link and Zelda (and soon/kind of already Ganondorf) just for this silly cartoon Zelda world of mine! My plan is to keep drawing Link and Zelda (and any other characters that appear in multiple games) for any Zelda comic I do that isn't specific to any of the games. And for those comics that are specific to one of the games, let's say Skyward Sword, then I'll draw generally the same Link and Zelda, but give them a more Skyward Sword look! As long as I don't do anymore extremely long comics like this one, I'm planning on continuing these! This should be fun!

This was really fun to draw, and like always, I listened to plenty of awesome Zelda music! But b/c this file was so huge, my computer had a hard time handling it. Plus, at one point it started to irritate my eyes b/c all the colors were too bright! But it must've been b/c the sun was down and the only real light source in the room was the computer. Once I finished it this morning though, it looked very appealing! I'm happy with how it turned out!

So I know what you're probably thinking. What kind of party would have soup and potato salad for snacks? Well I'll tell you what kind of party! A Hyrule party, that's what kind of party!
But yeah, this comic is ridiculous...Any avid Zelda fan knows that there are a lot (and I mean A LOT) of weird characters throughout the franchise, and sometimes they get a little annoying. Well Link has had enough! So if you've played Skyward Sword, you've probably come across Doh-Doh, a really weird clown who's on this island all by himself. Now I'm not sure if he ever said "Yay-yeah" before, or if I just made that up, but I coulda' sworn I've heard him say it! Anyway, the whole things become a running gag with my siblings, especially between me and my youngest sister...We say it too much...The joke is basically that the clown comes in whenever something good happens and says, "Yay-yeeeeaaaah!" And you can probably imagine his voice if you've played the game before, but just so we're clear, it's pronounced as, basically, the words "yay" and "yeah" put together. It's kind of similar to the Kool-Aid man crashing through walls and yelling, "OH YEAH!" Same concept...

Now, as for the Great Fairy...pretty much every Zelda fan knows who this is...If you've played Ocarina of time, then you've had nightmares starring the Great Fairy...*shivers* So yeah, the comic's pretty explanatory for why Link kicks her out. She laughs at the clown for being kicked out, but her laugh is insane...so yeah...yay-yeah...what's wrong with me...
Then Beddle (from WW and SS) thanks Link for getting rid of them (b/c evidently they annoy more than just the players) and he expresses his gratitude in the only way he knows how: really obnoxiously
So he's kicked out, and then the fish from WW pops up, and if you've met them, you'll know that it's not just one fish, but they all look and sound exactly the same! They sound like some CEO of a newspaper agency from the '20s with a cigar sticking out of his mouth (it's gonna be weird when we reach the 2030s and then we'll have to refer to the '20s as the 1920s) But yeah, then Tingle floats on in saying his magic words of gibberish. And I'm pretty confident that ALL real Zelda fans know who that is, and most of them know why he's annoying! (For some reason the Japanese love him, but I guess it's a culture thing...all I see is a weird 40 year old midgets in a skin-tight body suit trowing confetti and taking all my rupees...Damn that tiny con-artist!)
