Description A southerly storm moving in over Kaikoura Peninsula. Literally a minute later the peninsula was completely obscured from view, and a friend and I watched the clouds below roll quickly across the plains and towards us. 5 minutes later and we were inside the cloud, with visibility down to around 50m. An amazing experience for sure, and shows how quickly conditions can change in the mountains.

Brilliant shot! I really do know what you mean by mountain weather I experienced that too at the same location - I had little snow/storm in middle of summer It was really nice
