I just started to hear about this DLC...is it worth the money, gameplay and rewards-wise? Rewards include items and story.

I enjoyed it. It's not without its flaws but it delivers entertaining story and battles. I can't say much about rewards item-wise, since personally those mechanics quickly lose appeal after the starting levels.
