I feel guilty about posting this when I have 87 deviations languishing in my box. *headdesk*It's a hummingbird, drawn in Faber-Castell pens. It's inspired by Northwest Native American art.
Drawing this took me about 45 minutes.I didn't color it, but if anyone wants to, go ahead (only, if anyone submits a colored version, I'd like it if they credited me)

wow! I love the style you used for this pic, it looks almost tribal or something, the subject is really nice too, humming birds are so pretty and you really captured the pose well. the flower looks great too!

Ha ha, I was going to say it looks like an Indian design! The little images look so crisp and well-outlined. I think a person could look at this image several times and see something new each time XD. Very fluid placement of the designs too... like they belong where you placed them ^__^. Love the linework!

Whoa! That's awesome! You know what it reminds me of? Ukrainian decorative eggs. o_o;
I can for certain see the Native American Influence there, but it has also got the same kind of detail present on Ukrainian eggs... Or maybe Iβm just crazyβ¦ =_=;

You should try it! Sort of... It's really fun-- but yes, difficult... You draw with wax, dye the egg, draw again, dye another color, etc.
The results aren't usually -amazing- but it makes Easter more interesting... >>;;

i think there's this thing called a pentop computer where it lke... does this thing where you can make straight lines idk how.... also when you write if you press on one of the words you've written it'll lke say it it's SUPER COOOL
i don't have one but they'z awesome XD
they cost lke 100 bucks though
I might save up for one once i save up enough for a new, high-res super spiffy camera XD

XD I just save all my money for riding and drop hints that I want a camera for Christmas. *grins* I normally don't tell my parents what I want, so they usually get what I hint at.
