The barn in the background is on property recently purchased by friends of ours. There is a grave on the property of someone named Dorthy, whom our friends say they have seen in the house. This work is dedicated to Dorthy and her memory.Background-[link]

This piece has an interesting story behind it. Family friends purchased a farm recently on which is the grave of a former owner. Her first name was Dorthy and our friends have claimed to have seen her on several occasions. After hearing their story and description of her, I came up with the idea for this. The barn in the field behind the house is on the farm but the house is from stock. Our friends liked this one and thought that it was a good representation of Dorthy.

Thank you! That was the effect that I was trying for. Not as dark as my usual stuff, so I wasn't sure if it would turn out as I had envisioned.
