First of all, I love this picture! It's great, showing a tough woman in a tough environment.
My very first thought was that you're showing a Norn (Guild Wars 2 giant race from the cold north) here, but the pointy ears destroyed this illusion very quickly, coming to the conclusion that it has to be an elf.
Thinking of elves we first think about long-haired thin and tall models, very agile but not very strong. She's nothing of that, and this makes her unique. Short hair, painted face, propably a twohander on her back, heavy amour, a strong face, and immunity to the cold weather are the basics of her appearance. The snow makes me shiver just from looking at it, but not her.
All in all it's a great portrait of a tough warrioress.

Y'know, the braids, face struture and facial paint-job reminds me very much of a Magic: the Gathering planeswalker elf named Nissa Revane; the similarities are almost uncanny!
The only differences are the mascara-like under-brow paintwork, the heavy armor, and the normal white schlera of her eyes - Nissa had no mascara (that I can see), she needed little to no armor (being a planeswalker makes you a sort of invulnerable god), and had black schlera (because of her secretly dipping into black magic to strengthen herself and any of her elite elven kin that she has met and allied with from all over the Multiverse, Dominia.
Yeh, I love the MtG mythology (and game, too!!), as you can most likely tell at this point.

Beautiful character, reminds me of the orcs from Lineage, love the details on the metal. Love the contrast of a sexy lady in armor
