When I was gaming this was my favorite series to play. I enjoyed Prime, Zero Mission, and Super the most. Played the shit out of the original when I was a kid.

Nice collection of Metroid games.
I have that figure... and yeah it's just cheaply made.
The figure is just cheaply made that's all. It's got limited poseablity... (basically none that is useful) and it just looks so bland. Nothing really painted on it or anything. For the time IΒ guess it was ok. There was nothing else for Samus outside importing something. But they did so much better with their Halo figures it's too bad they didn't at least put the same amount of effort into it.Β Joyride did make pretty basic and cheap figures though. But again still, like I said at least their HaloΒ figures came off a lot better. Poor Samus...

I have Halo 1 Chief and Halo 2 Arbiter. I'll stick with those over the McFarlane figs because they're bigger, thus they scale better if I wanna snap photos or make Youtube videos with other stuff in my collection.
As for Samus...call me when they make a figure with her suit from Metroid Fusion.
And you want cheap-ass figures? Look at the Popco stuff for Super Mario Bros.

I have Joyrides Halo Master Chief from the Halo 2 I believe because it came with a swap out of hands to hold dual smgs.
Β As for Metroid Fusion suit. You might be able to find something from Japan... but not sure. Other then that it's not going to be likely. Unless some company does a statue.
Wouldn't know what those figures are. Just saying Joyride was cheap. But they still did ok figures. But not all the time. Poor Samus...

I prefer the character model for Halo 1 Chief, mostly because I like the smooth visor with no details better. But it's his character model from Halo 4 that I love most. It's looks so...rugged and utilitarian, perfect for a game where we get a sense John-117's getting a bit worn out.
MacFarlane is another figure company, who got their start with Spawn (duh) and once did Metal Gear figures. I shave ALL of those except Meryl Silverburgh. They now do the Halo figures, but they're...to short for my purposes.

What Samus looked like UNDERNEATH the suit was far more assy than the tweaks to the classic Varia look.
But it's the Fusion Suit I love the best and would LOVE to see a figure of.

I can handle Samus having an off-day after the Phyrric victory in Super Metroid, but you DO NOT make the greatest bounty huntress of all time look that damn puny!

Aha.. she was pretty skinny out of her armor in Super Metroid.Β
My favorite look for her is from Metroid Prime, my first Metroid game I ever
played when I was younger, and got so hooked on it for a while. Just that
iconic look that was popular for years before Other M. I liked the Other MΒ
look too! Just didn't like the.. sexism in that game..
