They really dropped the ball on the names in Judgment of the Light, though. I can't see what's wrong with Psychonductor Behemoth, personally, but who's really going to know what the HTS stands for in HTS Psyhemuth (and they couldn't even spell the bit of behemoth they left in there right)? I had to look it up because I thought they'd just picked random letters out of a Scrabble set. Similar issue with this card; Celestial Dragon or Starform Dragon were fine. But Star Eater? Really? Sure, it's big but I don't see it chowing down. More like the star's part of it.

Yeah. Many cards who looks cool in Japan have their name name "nerfed" here.
Masquerade Magician - Shining = Masquerade
Starform or Celestial Dragon = Star Eater
Mesmerizing Maneater = Traptrix
Burning Knuckler = Battlin' Boxer
Flame Star = Brotherhood of the Fire Fist
The Ghostricks surely will have their name changed to something like "Trick'n Treat" or worst.

Konami's international naming policy seems to be 'come up with something daft and throw anyone who suggests sticking with the original name out a window'. Their international localisers also treat the players like they're five or something by removing a lot of references to violence and religion and possible sexuality. Seriously, you can get that by watching the nightly news, and kids know about all that stuff for the most part. Not to mention that the rulings are far too complicated and fiddly for the age they think players are. That's why I like Cardfight Vanguard; it treats its audience with a bit of respect, changing things only if there are really serious possible sore points.
