Did you have a a reference for the photo? To me, the siting position seem hard to draw. She is arching her back while sitting and she has on platform heels.

No, I hardly ever use any reference. I probably should since it would be a bit easier and probably make my stuff look a lot better. Or at least more accurate. Originally I had her leaning forward and looking pissed off but I couldn't get it to look right so I went the other way.

Wow, If you can already do this from your brain without a reference, I think that is amazing.
I think that is one of the things that stops me. I can't always envision what to draw and when I do, I have a problem getting my brain to explain it to my hand.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. It's really difficult to get a solid visual in your mind... and then translating that to paper is a whole extra challenge. I just keep scribbling and hope for the best!
