Description
Dragon scales jar and bowl set, though I could break them up... the design work is the same on both, except the other side of the jar has a sort of cats eye yellow design. The scales are carved in and colored with black underglaze. The center is colored with yellow underglaze, then glazed with a Amazon Sahara zinc free clear. The rest of the scales and pots are covered with Amaco's Sahara Dark green (pretty much green celadon). Piece was fired to cone 6 in electric kiln. Came out nice and shiny. Bowl is about 8 inches wide and the jar is about 6 inches. Made from B-Clay - a stoneware porcelain mix.
