Its a beauty! Sometimes simple makes a big impact. The texture of the leather shows up well! I believe the Russian "Aardvark" gasmask you based this on is known as a GP5 civilian gasmask. I need to get a few of them someday and see what mods I can dream up!

Thank you. I do have to give some credit to the Bob Basset group of artists. Oleg Petrov (passed away several years ago) started using gas mask parts in his work many years ago when he started the Bob Basset group. He was a fantastic artist and an inspiration for my work.

Yes, they are a bit unusual. Based off the Russian ardvark style mask. The ones you see in countless photo shoots due to the ample supply in the states.

Thank you. Its a custom mask I did for a client in the north east US. Based off one of the steampunk gasmasks, but he wanted a more industrial look.

Very interesting!
'Vernian'... but also kinda 'Nazi' ... 'proto-nazi'? A little like that clockwork bad guy from the Hellboy movies...
Love that retro design!

Thanks. It does have a blend of a few looks, but its closer to the common former USSR gasmasks we see all over the place. The ardvark gasmask.
